Kitchen is Getting a Face Lift

This month our little old kitchen is getting long awaited and much deserved face lift. The first of the changes happened yesterday with a wee bit o painting. How is it you can live in a place for a decade and leave these little details undone? Well, better late than never. All I need is just a little black paint for the chair and this part will be done. What doesn't show in the photo is that the microwave stand was natural wood and it got a good dose of white paint (the most challenging of yesterday's painting).
