Simple Decorating from Nature

Here is what I've done so far to decorate our house for Christmas.  I seem to be drawn to the simple and natural this year.  Normally I'm a big red fan at Christmastime but not this year.  I've picked off some great ideas from Pinterest including the candles above - old jam jars with epsom salts and a tea light.  Im also thinking about making new garlands for our tree.  Have any of you made popcorn or cranberry garland?  Im thinking of giving those a try.  More of an old country feel than the glitzy ones I normally use.   Tomorrow the tree finally goes up.  We've got a Fraser Fir waiting outside.  The painters have finished up today so its time.
